____ Adam Scharff - guitarist, singer, songwriter

I met Adam when I first moved to Maine. I was driving all over Eliot looking for Thundering Sky studio, where I had a session booked to finish guitar parts on the last unfinished song from "Step into the light." I couldn't find the place and I spotted a house which had a big barn/garage where a studio could possibly have been. The house also had that unique "music aura", which probably sounds weird to most, but will make sense to other musicians. It "felt" like it must be the place. I slowly pulled into the driveway and sheepishly knocked on the door. It turned out not to be Thundering Sky, but rather, Adam Scharff's house. I hung out with him for a minute and we quickly learned of each other's career in music. He told a great tale of how he and his brother had just performed on the Donnie and Marie show. "Wow", I thought. "Southern Maine must really be where it's at! Studios, musicans in every house, playing on TV! How exciting! I'm so glad I moved here." Over time he and I became friends and I helped him out in his band "Radio Junkies" as the bass sub. We've done a bunch of studio projects together and often share road stories while our kids eat pizza. Adam's a terrific songwriter and guitarist and has one of those voices that was made for radio.
