In addition to his catalogue of original material, Todd draws from a growing list of popular R&B, Swing, Funk, Blues, Rock 'n' Roll, Reggae, Folk, Jazz Standards, etc. by artists like Van Morrison, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello, Jimi Hendrix, Leo Kottke, Grateful Dead, Blues Traveler, Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, Neville Brothers, Little Feat, Jimmy Buffet, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, James Taylor, Eric Clapton and many, many more. For solo performances Todd frequently employs the use of a foot-activated phrase sampler which allows him to play single note guitar solos against a chordal accompaniment, creating a two guitar sound.
